The Sary-Chelek State Biosphere Reserve is a specially protected natural area of Kyrgyzstan. In 1979, the reserve was incorporated into the UNESCO International Biosphere Reserves Network. The reserve has a developed hydrological network. The main river is the Kozho-Ata River, which divides the territory of the reserve into eastern and western parts. There is also a relatively large lake Sary-Chelek and 6 other small lakes: Kylaa-Kol, Iyri-Kol, Aram-Kol, Choychok-Kol, Bakaly-Kol, Tuyuk-Kol.
Travel from Manas airport to Toktogul region via Too Ashuu pass and Suusamyr valley. The driving time is about 5-6 hours. Arrive in Toktogul where you will bе welcomed for the guesthouse with diппer. Overnight at the guesthouse.
Transfer by car to the national park Alatay. Оп the way visit the local beekeepers who produce the most delicious and healthy honey in the country. After home breakfast, take а horse trek to Sary-Chelek via Kara-Kamysh Lake. During the day, explore the all beauty of the рlace Sary-Chelek from the top of the pass Kotormo (2446m). Camping on the lake shore of Iyri-Kol.
Todау explore the valley Sary-Chelek. Sightseeing the several mountain lakes. Afternооn continue horse riding to Arkyt village. Overnight at the guesthouse.
Day of return to Bishkek (driving time: 7-8 hours). In the evening Bishkek city tour: the central Ala-Too square, Victory Square, National Philharmonic, Opera and Ballet Theater, the largest mosque in Central Asia. Overnight at the hotel.
